Description

Watching brief undertaken in response to house development (CA-07-402). Top soil stripping revealed no archaeological features. However, outwith the development footprint, but within the application area a number of features of interest were noted, including a series of probable clearance cairns, stone settings and two interesting marked stones <1>. The two stones were submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 177/09) and allocated to Dunbeath Heritage Museum. <2> <3>
