Description

A walk-over survey was undertaken to identify any archaeology to be affected by the laying of the new Aultbea to Mellon Charles Phase 2 water main, Ross and Cromarty. This part of the route lies within the in-bye ground of the crofting township of Mellon Charles. Several features were noted which should be marked off and avoided during excavation work. <1>
