Description
A watching brief took place during the excavation of foundation trenches and drainage for a new house. Topsoil had already been stripped from the site. No features relating to pre-crofting cultivation or settlement were noted. A small amount of late 19th-century pottery was recovered from the topsoil, consistent with land use from the 1840s onwards. <1>
