Description
An archaeological evaluation was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2006 on the area subject to compulsory purchase order (CPO) for the proposed A9 Helmsdale Phase 2 roads scheme. Fifty-four trenches amounting to 8,455m² of the 11ha CPO area revealed no significant archaeological features or artefacts. <1>
