Description

An ongoing archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of towers and temporary haul roads as part of the major development of the electricity substation and associated infrastructure at Knocknagael, Inverness. The construction of a temporary haul road to Tower 403R was monitored in August 2010. A stone boundary marker was noted but not affected by the works. No other features or finds of archaeological significance were observed. <1>
