Description
An archaeological watching brief was carried out on behalf of Mrs Alison Dean in connection with groundworks for a new house build. The watching brief took place during groundworks for the house site, access, parking, services trenches, septic tank and soakaway. The watching brief uncovered two discrete archaeological features including one pit and the capstone for a possible cist, all of which were located outside the main development area for the house. Mitigation measures are proposed to safeguard the archaeological features during the developments at the site. <1><2>
