Description

A desk‐based assessment and Level 1 building recording survey were carried out by Highland Archaeology Services Ltd at Bruiach Farm, Kiltarlity, Inverness-shire in 2012. This work was undertaken in response to a planning condition required for a housing development, including conversion of a farm steading to residential accommodation. The survey revealed that the ground floor of the steading contained no architecturally or archaeological elements that would deem further study. One small first floor loft could not be accessed, and it was recommended that a supplementary visit should be made to record this if possible during the conversion. <1>
