An evaluation, comprising a controlled topsoil strip, was undertaken by Highland Archaeology Services in 2014 on the site of a new house development just behind Wardlaw Church, off Wardlaw Road, Kirkhill. This took place over five days between 7th and 13th May 2014. Eight features were encountered, including the footings of a stone built structure which had not previously been identified. No further archaeological investigation is recommended for this site. <1>
