EHG4460 - Desk-based assessment - proposed Auchmore Wind Turbine

A desk based assesment was carried out by The Energy Workshop in, or prior to, August 2011 in advance of a proposed wind turbine development at Auchmore Farm, Muir of Ord. Two cultural heritage features had been previously recorded within 800m of the site - a bloomery and a cairnfield with an associated hut circle. However, no features were noted within 100m of the site. A watching brief was proposed where significant groundworks were to be expected. <1> Note: The GIS shows a nominal area of 200m from proposed wind turbine location as an indicator of the assessement area.
