Description

In May 2013 Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned a survey of the Ccorrantree lead mine. The aim of the survey was to locate and describe the principal archaeological features and provide information on their condition and any associated health and safety issues. All archaeological features were photographed and given a ten-figure grid reference and measured sketches were also made of selected features.<1>
