Description
A desk-based assessment and archaeological survey of the former site of the Highland Fieldcraft Training Centre located to the south of St Maelrubhas Close, Poolewe was carried out by AOC Archaeology Group in 2017 in advance of proposed site re-development. Eighteen individual archaeological features were recorded. The majority of the features were located under vegetation of varying densities, which made survey difficult in places. <1>
