Description
The remains of Crosskirk broch, unsafe through coastal erosion, was excavated by H Fairhurst and D B Taylor in 5 seasons in 1966 and 1969- 1972 on behalf of DoE, before being filled in and levelled, earthed over and seeded with grass. <1>
