EHG5786 - Historic building survey - former Millton Mill, Lyth
Technique(s)
Organisation
Catherine Dagg
Date
May 2022
Description
A historic building survey was carried out by C Dagg in 2022 of the former mill and smithy at Millton, Lyth. The derelict buildings had received consent for conversion to residential use with an archaeological condition. Unfortunately the applicant proceeded with ground clearance and the laying down of a hardcore surface, limiting the potential for archaeological investigation and recording of the surrounding area. <1>
