Description
Stuart Farrell was commissioned by BMT Cordah Ltd in March 2003 to undertake an archaeological desktop survey at Stronlairig (NH 536 070) as part of an environmental Impact Assessment for a proposed hydro-electric scheme. Work revealed the remains of buildings associated with the former shooting lodge of Sronlairig, a farmstead, shielings and other small structures. A Find was also made of a flint scraper during the walk over survey. <1>
The scraper was disclaimed by Treasure Trove. <2>
