Full Description
An archaeological walkover survey was undertaken by Wordsworth Archaeological Services in 1996 at Claggersnich Farm, Cromdale.
An amorphous heap of stones some 15m by 10m clad in birch may define an enclosure. Though stones have been dumped on the north west side this thought to have a bank defining its edge. Because of its condition it is difficult to interpret but it could be the remains of a building and from its rounded form of an early type. See Fig 18 (ii) <1><2>
