Full Description
Fieldwork by Dr T. C. Welsh in 1993. At Milton Bridge possible mill site, destroyed by approach to ford predating bridge, remains of lade 2m floor 2 1/2m retaining bank, for at least 70m upstream. An enclosure on slope above up to 70m from stream. Possible site of mill superceded by corn mill at Loch an Eilein in 19th century. <1>
The feature is visible on SEPA LiDAR data. <2>
