Full Description

An archaeological survey at Rothiemurchas was undertaken by Dr T C Welsh in 1993.

Balvattan, an outlier on east side of road, partly overlain by it, 11 x 5m and square structure. <1>

Note: Site not visible on aerial photographs so location based on grid coordinates. (TB 26/1/26)

Note; building lies within scheduled area of hut circles and field system.
