Full Description

An archaeological survey at Rothiemurchas was undertaken by Dr T C Welsh in 1993.

An oval structure 6 x 4.5m on an eminence overlooking the meeting of tracks near Balvattan. A further structure is 15m south 8 x 4m. <1>

Note A: Site not visible on aerial photographs so location based on grid coordinates.

Note B: This site is located within a large sheduled area with hut circles and a prehistoric field system. (TB 30/1/26)
