Full Description

An archaeological survey at Rothiemurchas was undertaken by Dr T C Welsh in 1993.

A 4m diameter mound with a standing stone on the east side. 20m to the west is a 9 x 6m oval structure and other remains. <1>

Note: This mound lies within the HES scheduled area but is not mentioned in the scheduling detail. The six figure grid reference does not provide clarity as to the exact site locations which are not visible on Aps. (TB 30/1/26)
