Full Description
An archaeological survey at Rothiemurchas was undertaken by Dr T C Welsh in 1993.
In a deep embayment of the slope on the east shore of Loch Gamnha, a terrace 9m deep by 19m long, under bracken but with possible 8 x 3 m oval structure midway. Also to west at valley head 7 x 4m oval. Note proximity to bronze cauldron found NH 89250683 in 1964. <1>
Note: Site not visible on aerial photographs so location based on amended grid coordinates to the east as original coordinates in loch. (TB 28/1/26)
