The remains of a low, coursed drystone wall on the W side of Loch Poll were noted by Headland Archaeology during a pre-afforestation survey (NMRS MS 899/63, no.3). The wall, which is about 12m long, 0.6m wide and up to 0.6m high, extends into the loch on the E but its W end is lost beneath dense heather.
