Full Description
A structure, possibly a shieling-hut, situated immediately beside the Allt an Fheadain in a narrow deep section of its valley, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by Headland Archaeology.
5: The structure measures 2.5m by 2m and is two courses high. The location is not typical of shieling-huts which are usually situated on well-drained ground adjacent to water and it may therefore have had a different purpose. <1>
Note: Site not visible on aerial photographs so location based on grid coordinates. (TB 19/12/25)
