Full Description
A possible charcoal burning platform at Glen Suileag on the Fassfern Estate.
An archaeological walkover survey in areas proposed for forestry work on the Fassfern Esatate was carried out by J Wordsworth in 2000. This revealed a number features in this area. A spread of charcoal at NN 0269 8034 was observed in the bank exposed at the N side of the road. Though no platform can be discerned this may be the remains of a charcoal-burning platform. <1>
