Full Description

On a slight terrace of close-cropped heather and coarse grasses is an arc of stone c8m in diameter 60m NW of Loch Donnaig and 10m W of the modern boundary fence. This could possibly form a circular enclosure some 9m in diameter with the rest of the site buried under the peat. If this interpretation is correct then the depth of the peat cover suggests this is a prehistoric roundhouse. No associated stone clearance heaps and field dykes are visible, thought these could also be buried under the peat.
