"Corn Mill" marked on 1st ed OS. "Mill lade" running NNW-SSE to S from the building. - HAW 10/2002
There has been a mill on this site since at least 1750, but the existing dam, sluices and double lade probably date to the middle of the last century. <1>
A building survey of the mill ruin was undertaken by C Dagg in 2019 as a condition on a planning application for proposed partial demolition and re-development. <2>
