Full Description

A walkover survey in advance of a proposed afforestation scheme at Glen Spean was carried out by the Centre for Archaeology in 1998. A distinct, irregular grassy mound, c. 5 m in diameter, was identified on the south bank of Allt Glas Dhoire. No definite structural remains could be determined, although it may well have been the remains of a shieling mound. <1>
