Site recorded during a survey of the township of Manish Beg (NG54NE 3) plus the surrounding area carried out by ACFA in April 1999 as part of a continuing programme of recording the physical remains of human activity on the island of Raasay (see Macdonald and Scott Wood 1998).

K Hardy and C Wickham-Jones 2001
A rockshelter with surface limpet and winkle midden was investigated by the Scotland's First Settlers Project in 2001. There were two regular flakes of chalcedonic silica from the surface at this site. The lithics and midden indicated past human activity, though it was not possible to date it. <1>
