Full Description

A hut circle and field bank were noted at NG5699 3610 in ACFA's 2004 publication of surveyed cairns on Raasay. They were situated on a gentle south facing grassy slope to the west of a small stream 25m north of the Inverarish to Fearns road. The remains lay in a sheltered valley among a series of turf and stone banks marking out an old field system. A turf and stone field bank passes to the west and north of the hut circle (see MHG39188) at only a few metres distance. <1>

The bank is visible on aerial photography captured 2010. <2>
