Full Description
The kiln is circular and has footings 4.1m in external diameter, E/W and 5m N/S with walls lm thick. The flue from the corn kiln opens into this room and is 2m in length. At the s end of the building the stone footings stand to 0.4m consisting of turf covered rubble. The corner stones and those of the kiln only appear to be dressed. This structure appears as a roofed building on the 1863 OS map. <1>
