Full Description

A walkover survey was conducted by S Farrell in 2000 prior to the installation of a water pipe trench during a development for an agricultural barn at Braemore. Three new sites were recorded including a rectangular structure measuring 7m x 4m of rubble construction with no sign of an entrance. It was thought to be a possible lamb pen or kale yard. A watching brief of the pipe trench revealed no archaeological features or deposits. A number of clearance cairns were also identified. <1>
