Description

A field investigation was conducted by S Farrell in 2000 consisting of a watching brief on a water pipe trench and an inspection of an area of excavation for an agricultural barn at Braemore, by Lairg. The objectives of this work were in 2 parts: Firstly, to investigate an area of excavated ground to check if any archaeology had been destroyed and to carry out a walkover survey of the line of a pipe trench to identify any archaeological sites. Secondly, to conduct a watching brief on the excavation of the pipe trench. <1>
