A township comprising three unroofed, eight roofed buildings, two of which are long buildings, two unroofed structures, three enclosures, a horse-gang and a lime kiln is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet lxxxvii). One unroofed, two roofed buildings and four enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1994).

Photographs of a disused steading, which were submitted to the HER in June 2009, show an area of raised ground and wall remains. These are probably the remains of this horse gang. The position of the horse gang is shown on the site plan prepared by The Architecture Studio. <1>
