Information from J Harden 1989.
Twelve small cairns were noted, to the SW of the dun on Creag Phitiulais, during a pre-afforestation survey at Craig Pityoulish and Craiggowrie. They range from 3m to 5m in diameter and stand up to 0.5m in height.
There was no evidence of the hut-circle previously identified from the aerial photographs.
Visited by T Holden and M Dalland (Headland Archaeology) 25 June 1999.
