A farmstead comprising three unroofed, two roofed buildings, an incomplete enclosure and a field wall is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1872, sheet lxxxvii). Four unroofed buildings and some walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1994).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 16 July 1996

This farmstead was noted in a DBA and walkover survey by J Wood in 2004 for the Highland Wildlife Park. It was said to include three post-medieval buildings, an enclosing stone dyke, and several cairns. The farmstead may have been built on a former cultivated hill field or achadh that could date from the 14th through 17th centuries.
