NG53NE 206 5830 3949
NG 5830 3949 Pen (Feature 2) Located midway up the boulder strewn grassy slope is a rock shelter of relatively modern date. The structure, which is constructed of rough boulder walling 0.50m thick and 0.90m high, measures 3.30m x 1.40m internally.
NG 5838 3929 Possible Hut Circle (Feature 3) A sub-circular feature 12m east-west x 8m north-south, with walling 0.70m high at maximum and 1m - 2m thick.
Site identified during an archaeological survey of the townships of Hallaig and An Leac and the surrounding area.
