Full Description

A walkover survey in October 2007 identified two low, indistinct and one substantial turf and rubble dykes corresponding to dykes recorded on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map and appearing the represent attempts to enclose and improve this ground in the mid-19th century. To the west and south of these, outwith the enclosures, are the remains of rig cultivation. <1>
