Full Description

Another, quite degraded, oval shieling mound, covered in moss and grass, with reeds growing within its sunken interior. No stone is visible in its thick, linear mounded walls, which stand 0.4m high and are spread to 1m wide and it measures 12m x 4m. The long sides of the structure trend 063 degrees. This site is one of a group of shieling huts identified during a walkover survey in April 2009. <1>
