Full Description

A small patch of rig cultivation around 20m square was noted during a walkover survey by Wordsworth Archaeology Services in 2000 on the east facing slope of a small knoll at Torr a' Choit, Glenfinnan. The rigs measured around 3m wide and were poorly preserved since they lay under dense bracken and had been planted with scots pine seedlings. The extent of the rig area was marked out by canes. <1>
