Full Description
NM 44427 87345
The remains of this group of shielings, standing on the NW face of Beinn Tighe some 500m from the summit, comprises two turf mounds and four huts. The larger mound, at NM 44427 87345, measures 9m in diameter and 0.7m in height, and has a flattened top scattered with stones. The huts have dished interiors and range from 1.8m to 2.1m in length and from 1.2m to 1.5m in breadth within wall footings about 0.9m thick.
