The remains of a Home Guard secret hideout are situated on the W bank of the River Thurso where a ditch flows in from Derwent farmsteading. An area of gorse covers the hide.
Constructed of corrugated iron shaped in the form of a large Anderson shelter with an escape tunnel leading out into the ditch cut.
