Full Description
A group of features lying to the east of a two-phase roundhouse and representing activity associated with the settlement. The first group contained a number of clear postholes and are likely to represent a structure that extended to the north beyond the limits of excavation. To the east were several pits, some of which contained material suggestive of metalworking. Another group of pits lay a few metres downslope. This metalworking may be contemporary with the occupation of the later of the two roundhouses, or alternatively it may represent later, early historic activity. <1>
