Full Description

Good example of a large natural glacial erratic boulder which has been used to place some clearance boulders on its top. The natural boulder is around 1.5m size.

Interpreted as related to the clearance of land in the Bronze/Iron Age, associated with the prehistoric hut circle settlement across this area. <1>
