Full Description

One of dozens of clearance heaps and boulders set on this grassy area (Plate 31). This one is 3.5m in diameter and stands 0.6m high. It is odd that it is supposed to be a cleared landscape, yet many boulders still lie strewn about amongst the cairns.

Interpreted as associated with prehistoric land clearance across this area. <1>
