Full Description
Situated on a low spur ofwell-drained ground, within a wet and shallow depression containing rushes, are the remains of a ruinous multi-celled shieling. Comprising three separate stone-built cells, the structure measures 7.0 metres long by 4.5 metres wide over walls 0.8 metres thick. The entrance is 0.8 metres wide and faces southeast and the walls survive to a maximum height of 0.8 metres. The shieling has a south-easterly aspect and is situated at 110 metres OD. <1>
