Full Description
Disused rectilinear plantation of probable fruit trees situated west of Little Garve Home Farm, at 81m OD on a wide river terrace. The site is surrounded by a disused post and wire fence and is visible as a sub-triangular feature with linear
plant rows on aerial photography. Since the plantation is not depicted on the 1st edition OS survey map,
but does appear on the 2nd edition ‘popular’ edition, it is presumed to be a late 19th-early 20th century site. <1><2>
