Full Description
Circular clearing over boggy ground with possible encircling mound around perimeter; 74m OD.
This site was noticeable as a clearing to the north side of the proposed route. Closer examination suggested that the circular open, boggy ground with a ruinous possible enclosing mound could be a disused man-made pond. There were no other features or structures observed surrounding it and it remains inconclusive. <1><2>
