Report: Highland SMR and RCAHMS (intended)
Funder: The Carnegie Trust for the Universities of Scotland and the Caledonian Research Foundation Scholarship
Anne Bankier – University of Glasgow <1>

A group of three buildings roughly aligned E/W tucked under a steep cliff, with a bank running along the front of them and the land falling away so they look south across marshland towards Sanna. It seems likely that these were a farmstead, perhaps consisting of house, byre and animal enclosure. One, possibly two, of the buildings appear on the 1st edition OS Map and so date to, at latest, 1872. <2>

The site was visited and photographed by Jon Haylett on the 18th of November 2013. <2>
