Full Description
The possible remains of a longhouse at Allt Lon an Daim, near Ladycairn, Dochfour, were noted during a walkover survey by Wordsworth Archaeology Services in 1999 in advance of a proposed Woodland Grant Scheme. It was observed as a rectangular mound 12m x 4m and up tp 0.5m high on its sides with slight dip in the middle. It could, however, have been nothing more than a foruitous arrangement of natural boulders. The whole area was obscured by tall heather. <1>
