Full Description
The enclosure appears on the 1st Edition OS Map and so dates at latest to 1878. The three lengths of wall comprising the slipways do not appear on either the 1st, 2nd, 5th or 7th Edition Maps, but this may be a result of tides obscuring the structures whilst the maps were drawn.
The enclosure and slipways were identified by Stuart Farrell in 2002 whilst conducting a walk over survey for a Woodland Grant Scheme. <1>
