Full Description
Barrisdale
This refers to about 0.5 km either side of Barrisdale House. Few archaeological sites were identified and were recorded by NOSAS in 2004 as part of an archaeological survey of Inner Loch Hourn. None of the occupied buildings were included in the survey.
Site: 451. A substantial revetment wall, c. 10m long and 1m high supporting a large platform on 2 levels, with an arc of natural rock faces forming the back of the upper platform. <1>
